If you are planning any kind of outdoor event, having a good site plan is paramount to making that event a success. That’s where we come in! In addition to our 3D scanning and traditional survey abilities, we are also able to provide large scale site plans using aerial photography.
We use high-resolution aerial photographs to trace site plans of almost any location you may be thinking about producing an event. Depending on the exact location, these site drawings are accurate to within six inches. We include any permanent infrastructure visible at the site, including street and sidewalk locations, streetlights and hydrants as well as any vegetation that is visible.
This option is a low-cost, fast-turnaround alternative to 3D scanning or traditional surveying. It requires no on-site time, and the exact time and cost is entirely based on how large the site is. Whether you have already selected a site for your event or you would like to explore multiple location options, this can be a cost-effective way to get scale drawings. Many clients also combine this service with our other drafting services. In this case we create a base site plan and then work with the client on placing scale drawings of their various design elements on the site, iterating until they find the perfect layout.
